Reporting to one Editor-in-Chief and one Executive Editor, the responsibilities include reviewing manuscripts; general administrative duties; communicating with authors and agents by phone and email; drafting sales copy; organizing schedules and meetings; sales and category research; and expense tracking.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Qualifications<\/strong><br>Must be:<br>\u2022 Reliable, friendly, organized, and flexible.<br>\u2022 Be able to work independently, confidentially, and professionally in a fast-paced office environment.<br>\u2022 Possess strong MS Office skills, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as internet research and social media skills.<br>\u2022 Possess strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.<br>\u2022 Demonstrate strong familiarity with and passion for popular contemporary non-fiction and fiction titles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 Demonstrated interest in quality commercial and literary fiction, pop culture, current events, and narrative nonfiction (including memoir, popular history and science) preferred.<br>\u2022 Must have Bachelor\u2019s Degree plus 3-5 years of experience in an editorial department.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ambassador Publishing US is an equal opportunity employer (EOE) including disability\/vet.
